Advanced Manufacturing & CNC Programming (E23522)
This course will give hands-on experience using 3D design software with the ultimate output of a CNC generated code to run our automated CNC Mills and Laser Cutter. This project-based, hands-on class, will cover the basics of machine safety, 3D modeling, and CNC programming.

The American sports market is an $80 billion industry that continues to grow at an exponential rate! In this course, we will begin to peel back the layers of the business involved in sports, exploring player contracts, team/club revenue models, free agency, broadcasting deals, sponsorships, and more! This class brings together a blend of modern-day and historic sports to illustrate the evolution of professional athletics as we know it. This course will introduce the Tastes of Hawaii and the history behind many regional dishes. While learning about unique ingredients and the culture of Hawaii, students will prepare and cook entrees, desserts, and appetizers (PuPu) in our culinary classroom kitchen.

Are you worried about how to afford college? In this class, we will examine different strategies for decreasing college costs and maximizing return on investment. Each participant will receive an organizational tool to keep track of college costs, scholarships, career options, and the strategies they select to reduce college debt. The website for this seminar contains resources for career information, college searches, scholarship search engines and helpful career advice that can be accessed even after this seminar is done. Rising seniors who participate in the class can schedule an individual college advising session, if they wish.

The physical and mental benefits of yoga can help us create more balance in our lives. This class will provide an active yet relaxing experience that will introduce you to mindful movement and meditation techniques that can be used to enhance your overall well-being. We will explore several styles of yoga that will help you feel both invigorated and restored. No prior experience necessary. Yoga mats will be provided, or you can bring your own.
