    District 214 students can take a variety of courses to complete high school graduation requirements while also earning early college credit. These include Advanced Placement, dual credit, concurrent credit and transition courses, in addition to other opportunities.

    The goal of early college credit opportunities is to help students save time and money, and prepare them for the rigor of college coursework.

    • Students from the class of 2019 students earned more than 47,000 early college credits, a potential total college savings of over $14.1 million for District 214 families.
    • 83% of seniors in the class of 2019 were successful in a dual credit or Advanced Placement course.
