Illinois Science Assessment- March 17, 2021
All D214 juniors will take the ISA in March. All juniors are expected to test in-person at school, even if the student regularly participates remotely.
During testing, only junior students will be in the building. Freshman, sophomore and senior students will participate in their regularly scheduled classes remotely until testing is complete at 12:55 pm.

Our first virtual National Technical Honor Society Induction Ceremony took place on Wednesday, February 24. The event recognized deserving students who have excelled in our Career and Technical Education programs and pathways, both in and outside of the classroom.

Tutoring Information
RMHS offers many FREE, virtual tutoring options. These options occur before, during, and after school and are all run by Meadows staff members or Meadows students. CLICK HERE for more information.

Return to full in-person instruction on April 5
Effective Monday, April 5, and extending through the end of the 2020-21 academic year, High School District 214 welcomes all students back for in-person instruction.

Artist Héctor Duarte visits RMHS’ Spanish class
On Jan. 6 and 12, RMHS teacher Heidi Huck’s 5th and 8th block Spanish Native Speaker Level 2 classes were able to have artist Héctor Duarte in their zoom class to introduce them to his works and to help them see their cultural and social identities through an artistic lens. This experience was made possible through generous D214 Arts Unlimited and RMHS TPC Grants. Read more in The Pacer.

Christie sets Rolling Meadows scoring record (article from the Daily Herald)
With a 3 pt basket at the end of the 1st on February 12th, Christie ('18-'21) broke the all-time Meadows record for points. The previous record was 1,858 points, scored by Rob Garnes (‘96-‘99).

Bob Frisk Legacy Fund benefits journalism program
An anonymous donor contributed $20,000 in memory of Bob Frisk, the late writer for the Daily Herald who spent decades covering the athletes, coaches and parents of suburban prep sports.
