2025-2026 Course Request Verification & Auto Accelerated Placement

  • Parent Portal Access (Infinite Campus)

    From Monday, January 27 at 12:00 a.m. to Monday, February 3 at 12:00 p.m., parents and guardians can review course requests through the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. You can access the Course Request Verification by logging into the portal, selecting the "More" menu, then choosing "Quick Links" and "Course Request Verification."

    • For Incoming Freshmen: Parents without accounts will receive an invitation to create their Infinite Campus account starting January 7.

    Review & Confirm Course Requests

    During the window from January 27 to February 3, parents and guardians can review and confirm their student's Auto Accelerated placement exceptions. If you have questions, reach out to your student's counselor or Division Head.

    Important Notes:

    • Core Course Placements for incoming 9th graders are based on standardized test scores, teacher recommendations, and Division Head input.
    • All Students must enroll in seven academic courses and one study hall.
    • Students with IEPs: Courses will be finalized at individual IEP meetings.
    • Capstone or Academy Courses: Students selected will be notified separately. These courses will not appear in the Course Request Verification.
    • Transportation: Not provided for 0 hour classes.

    Auto Acceleration Confirmation

    Parents and guardians will be prompted to confirm whether their student qualifies for Auto Accelerated courses in core subjects: English, Math, Science, and Social Science. You can either confirm or opt out of these advanced placements during the January 27 to February 3 window.

    Note: If the Course Request Verification and Auto Accelerate survey is not completed, course requests and Auto Accelerate placements will remain as selected.

    Dual Credit Opportunities

    District 214 students have the chance to earn college credit while fulfilling high school graduation requirements through Dual Credit, AP, and Concurrent Credit courses.

    Students enrolled in dual credit courses will be contacted via email to complete their application.

    Course Change Deadline

    All course requests are final by 12:00 p.m. on February 3, 2025. Be sure to complete the Course Request Verification and Auto Accelerate survey by then.
