GENERAL TRANSPORTATION OVERVIEW
Location:
The Summer Experience is held at Rolling Meadows High School (RMHS) for all courses, except for ESY (Extended School Year), which takes place at Forest View Education Center (FVEC).
Transportation Eligibility:
Transportation is available from designated pick-up locations to RMHS (or FVEC), ensuring students arrive by 7:30 a.m. for their classes and return to the same pick-up location after 12:30 p.m.
Important Notice:
Due to the reduced enrollment of students and the distribution of students across the district, there will be fewer bus stops, and your designated stop may be farther from your home than the bus stop used during the regular school year. Please note these stops may be located at local park district locations, elementary, middle, and high schools. The bus stops (pickup/drop-off points) for eligible students will be located not more than one and one-half miles from a student’s residence.
TRANSPORTATION PURCHASE TIMING
Transportation purchased by June 3:
Families who purchase transportation by June 3 will have bus stop locations and pick-up times distributed via email and available on the Parent/Student Infinite Campus portal at the end of the week prior to the start of Summer Experience.
Transportation purchased after June 3:
Transportation requests received after June 3 will be processed on a first-come, first-served basis if space is available.
There is no guarantee that transportation or the logistics for transportation will be available prior to the first day of class. If transportation is not available, a refund will be issued to the credit card used for payment.
Notification: You will receive an email once transportation details are available. Please monitor your email and Infinite Campus account regularly for updates.
Refund/Cancellation Policy: Cancellations/Refunds for transportation charges will only be available through the first week of each Summer Experience session, with the exception of Enrichment courses where refunds are available through the first day of the course.
