We’re excited to announce that nominations are now open for this year’s recognition awards. We are opening nominations earlier this year to give everyone extra time to recognize the incredible efforts of volunteers and staff. Use the links below to submit your nominations and help us celebrate the dedication and impact of our school community.
Distinguished Service Award
The Distinguished Service Award recognizes outstanding community members who have made significant contributions to secondary education through their volunteer efforts. Any District employee may nominate a person for the Distinguished Service Award. Please note that nominees must not be current employees (full-time or part-time) of District 214.
Nominations will be accepted now through Tuesday, November 18. The Distinguished Service Awards will be presented on Thursday, February 26, 2026.
Dr. Elizabeth A. Ennis Innovator Award
The Dr. Elizabeth A. Ennis Innovator Award is presented annually to a District 214 staff member or team whose innovative work enhances the quality of teaching, learning and/or the working environment in the District.
Nominations for the Dr. Elizabeth A. Ennis Innovator Award and Outstanding Contributions to Education will be accepted now through Wednesday, January 7, 2026. Awards will be presented on Wednesday, April 29, 2026.
Outstanding Contributions to Education (OCE) Awards
Outstanding Contributions to Education (OCE) Awards recognize staff members who consistently demonstrate exceptional professional performance. The awards are divided into three categories:
Outstanding Contributions to Education – EA - Recognizes full-time, certificated, non-administrative staff members.
Outstanding Contributions to Education – ESP - Celebrates Educational Support Personnel (ESP) for their dedication and contributions.
Outstanding Contributions to Education – Operations (CMA and Food & Nutrition Services) - Honors CMA and Food & Nutrition Services staff.
