High school Pre-Registration is the first important step for 8th grade parents/guardians and students to get ready for high school. Information will be mailed and emailed to 8th grade parents/guardians at the end of September. District 214 receives student information from middle schools and junior high schools in the surrounding area.

Pre-Register for a District 214 high school at www.d214.org/freshmanprereg by October 17, 2024. 

Pre-Registration provides essential information for the high school student information system and is part of your student’s record in the high school. It is important to pre-register now so the high schools can communicate with you regarding placement, parent nights, and registration. Please complete all information as accurately as possible.

Pre-registration is free. No payment is needed until registration in June of 2025.

If you do not know which high school your student should attend based on your address, a map with boundaries is located at https://www.d214.org/Page/3649. If you need further assistance as to which high school your student will attend, contact District 214 Transportation at (847)718-7470.

The high school will request proof of residence in the spring. If you plan to move, you must pre-register at the high school at your current address. District 214 can always transfer the test results and move the student record to another school after you have proof of residence for the new school.
