Complete High School Intent to Enroll at enroll.d214.org
Purpose: The first step in becoming a student at a District 214 high school is to complete the Intent to Enroll. The online form provides essential information for the high school student information system and is part of the student high school record. The Intent to Enroll also registers students for the Placement Exam. It is important to complete the information now, so the high schools can communicate with you regarding placement, parent nights, and registration. Please complete all information as accurately as possible.
Information Requested: The Intent to Enroll asks for student information, household information, parent/guardian information and other state-required questions. It is important to use the student’s legal name when completing the Intent to Enroll. Intent to Enroll is free. No payment is needed until registration in June. Please complete the information as accurately as possible. You will also complete a quick survey that will help District 214 with placement.
Determine the correct High School: If you do not know which high school your student should attend based on your address, a map with boundaries is located at www.d214.org/districtmap. If you need further assistance as to which high school your student will attend, contact District 214 Transportation at (847)718-7470.
Next Steps:
- Proof of residence: The high school will request proof of residence in the spring. If you plan to move, you must complete the Intent to Enroll at the high school at your current address. District 214 can always transfer the test results and move the student record to another school after you have proof of residence for the new school.
- Registration: The final step to getting ready for high school will be to complete the High School Registration in June.
