Fees and Waivers

  • FEES FOR 2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR

    The Board of Education approved registration fees for the 2025-26 school year.  Below are the fees for this coming school year.

      Second Child in Household $250
      Third Child in Household $150
      Additional students beyond three in household $0
      Senior Fee $40

    WAIVERS

    Applications for fee waivers will be accepted beginning June 2, 2025.  Fee waivers can be delivered and/or mailed to Township High School District 214, Attn: Fee Waiver, 2121 S. Goebbert Rd., Arlington Heights, IL  60005.  They can also be dropped off at the high school and the high school will forward them to the district office.  Please note no decisions will be made prior to July 8, 2025.  No fee shall be collected from any parent/guardian seeking a fee waiver in accordance with this policy until they have been notified of the District's decision regarding the request or appeal if one is made.  

    For the purposes of this policy, "school fees" mean any monetary charge collected by the school or district from a student or the parent/guardian as a prerequisite for the student's participation in any curricular or co-curricular program of the school or district. A school does not impose a "fee" when it requires that students provide their own ordinary supplies or materials (e.g., pencils, paper, notebooks), which are necessary to participate in any curricular or co-curricular program.

    If you receive Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), and/or Temporary Assistance to Needy Families (TANF) from the DHS, you will be mailed a letter of eligibility for free meals at the end of July from District 214. If you receive one of these letters, you do not need to fill out a Fee Waiver. If you did not receive one of these letters from District 214, you must complete a fee waiver to be eligible.
