This career cluster prepares students who want to pursue careers in local, state or federal government for roles in national security, foreign service, planning, revenue and taxation, and regulations. These pathways include opportunities for work-based learning experiences and early college credit.

Work Based Learning Experiences in Government and Public Administration

Student interns have completed a variety of tasks in the Government and Public Administration field, including, but not limited to:

• Working alongside city department heads on marketing campaigns
• Creating and refining current data structures that were used with city departments
• Learning the intricacies of local governmental structures
