How To Register

  • School Registration Begins June 2, 2025

    Students must be registered before the first day of class on Wednesday, August 13, 2025.

    There are two ways to register: 

    • Online: register.d214.org/OnlineReg

      A Student ID number is required to register online. This option is not available for incoming freshmen who have not pre-registered and transfer students. You will need to go to your school in-person to register.

    • In-person: School staff members will be available at all schools to assist parents/guardians during in-person registration on the following days:

      • Monday – Thursdays: 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (summer hours - staff in buildings).
      • Buildings are closed: All Fridays from June 5 through August 1, 2025; Thursday, June 19, 2025, and Thursday, July 3, 2025.

    Know Before You Register

    In order for your student to attend class on August 13, 2025:

    • Annual school registration must be completed.
    • Current residency must be on file.
    • Immunizations must be up-to-date and verified.

    Additional documentation might be required to process your registration; please have one of the following original documents ready to upload when you begin the process:

    • Current utility bill (gas, water or electricity) in the name of a parent/legal guardian.
    • Current lease or mortgage in the name of parent/legal guardian.
    • Current property tax bill in the name of parent/legal guardian.

    Transfer Students

    All students new to the community must provide their original birth certificate. Click HERE for more information.

    Health Requirements

    District 214 has a first-day exclusion policy. All students must be in compliance with the required physical examination and immunizations prior to the first day of school attendance.

    Seniors

    • All students entering 12th grade are required to show proof of having received two doses of Meningococcal Conjugate Vaccine (Menactra, Menveo, MCV4) prior to entering 12th grade. The first dose is to be administered on or after the students' 11th birthday, and the second dose must be administered on or after the 16th birthday. If the first dose is administered when the child is 16 years of age or older, only one dose is required.

    Fee Waiver

    • Applications for Fee Waivers are accepted beginning June 2, 2025. Click HERE for more information.
    • Decisions will not be made before July 8, 2025.

    Application for Free/Reduced Lunch

    Applications are accepted beginning August 2025. Go to: https://www.d214.org/meal-benefit

    Student Accident Insurance

    Student Accident Insurance is available for purchase through 1st Agency Insurance Company. Enrollment forms are available in the Main Office or online HERE. 1st Agency Insurance Company is not affiliated with High School District 214.
