Bill Dussling is a 25-year member of the District 214 Board of Education. An Arlington Heights resident for over 40 years, Dussling has received state and national accolades for his commitment to education, including the National School Boards Association’s Distinguished Service Award, the Illinois Board of Education Excellence Award, the Journalism Education Association’s Friend of Scholastic Journalism, the Illinois Music Educator’s Legislative Award and the District 214 Friends of the Arts Award. Dussling, a Vietnam veteran helicopter pilot with extensive work experience in human resources and labor relations, has three children who are Buffalo Grove High School graduates.
