Registration Information 2025-2026

Welcome to the 2025-26 school year. The first full day of classes will be Wednesday, August 13, 2025.
High School District 214 uses an Online Registration and Fee Payment Process. You may complete your registration at home or at any location with Internet access. Please plan to allow at least 30 minutes to complete the registration. Online Registration will begin Monday, June 2, 2025. Please go to the District website and look for the registration link. Online payments will be accepted using a credit or debit card (MasterCard, Discover, or Visa). You will need the Student’s ID number, student’s home school name, zip code, and birthdate to log in. Please follow the directions on the website and verify that demographic information, especially your email address, is current and up-to-date. If you do not have access to a computer or prefer to pay using cash, check, or money order, please go to your home school’s main office to complete the registration process.
The Board of Education approved registration fees for the 2025-26 school year.
Fees are $350 for the first child in the household, $250 for the second child in the household, and the third child in the household is $150. Additional students beyond three will not pay a registration fee.
Senior students will pay a $40 senior fee.
Parent Organization membership can be paid for at the time of registration (This includes Buffalo Grove Parent Association, Elk Grove Parent Teacher Council, Hersey Teacher Parent Council, Prospect Teacher Parent Council, Rolling Meadows Parent Teacher Organization, Wheeling Parent Teacher Organization).
Any other optional fees (not included online), health and immunization records, athletic registrations, and other information in this packet must be mailed in or dropped off in the main office.
Transportation
Transportation is free for students beyond 1.5 miles from school, and sign-up is unnecessary. Students not eligible for free transportation may purchase this service ($675 for the 2025-26 school year) based on seat availability on regular routes. Please contact the main office for more information.

Fee Waivers
Applications for fee waivers are available on the registration page of your home school’s website, as well as the District website, www.d214.org.
Fee waivers need to be delivered and/or mailed to Township High School District 214,
Attn: Fee Waiver, 2121 South Goebbert Road, Arlington Heights, IL 60005.
The building will be open Monday through Thursday, beginning June 2nd, from 7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Please enter at Door 1 by the flagpole.
No applications will be accepted before June 2, 2025. Please note no decisions will be made prior to July 8, 2025. No fee shall be collected from any parent/guardian seeking a fee waiver in accordance with this policy until they have been notified of the District's decision regarding the request or appeal if one is made.
Reminder to all Freshman and new students: You must provide an original birth certificate, and residency must be verified. In addition to Online Registration, a current physical and the appropriate immunization records are required for your enrollment to be complete. You can download and print these medical-related forms from the registration website.
Returning Students: In early August, schedules, IDs, bus schedules, and other information will be available. Students attending Alternative Schools or Programs Outside the District must register and pay at their respective home school. It is imperative that all students, regardless of where they attend school, register at their home school. Failure to register within the appropriate timelines will suspend all services, including transportation.
Student Accident Insurance enrollment forms for coverage through 1st Agency Insurance Company are available in the Main Office or on the registration portal website. If you choose this additional coverage for your student, follow the instructions outlined in the brochure. 1st Agency Insurance Company is not affiliated with High School District 214.
