Students make a splash through D214 Summer Internships
Published August 7, 2023
District 214 students are making a splash through summer internships. From firefighting, to fashion, and even herpetology, students are getting a jumpstart to finding their futures.
The Center for Career Discovery supports a multitude of workplace learning experiences, including internships and micro-internships, that help advise and affirm career choices for District 214 students before they graduate.
All internship experiences are designed to provide authentic, relevant and meaningful learning experiences in the community. District 214 partners with more than 1,500 businesses to make internships a reality.
The internship experience is part of the District’s Career Pathway program, which also offers opportunities for early college credit and workplace credentials and paves the way for students to leave high school college, career and life ready.
D214 Internships are available year-round. Click HERE to learn more or watch our latest videos below.
