Students will learn principles of information gathering, copywriting, layout, copy fitting, photography, photography and composition, editing, word processing, and proofreading. The students will learn all the skills in creating a yearbook for the students and school community. The class is treated like a business and the product is an amazing yearbook marketed to students for sales and distribution. Yearbook is a semester course, but most students sign up for a full year by pairing Yearbook 1 & 2. Students in the program for a long period of time get to become editors and decision makers for the class.

Start with Yearbook 1 and move up to Yearbook 8.
