Resources for Juniors
Starting a college search:
As the first step in the college search process students identifies what is important to them in a college or university. Early in junior year, making college visits and talking with admissions representatives at JHHS or at a local college fair can be a valuable way to identify college traits of importance. For more information on on-campus visits, college fairs, and meetings with college representatives, visit this webpage. In addition, counselors meet with juniors three times during the academic year to provide information on career exploration, building a college list, assessing the likelihood of acceptance, the application process, standardized testing.
