The 2nd Annual Asian American Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month Celebration and Collaborate was held at John Hersey High School on May 18th, 2023. The theme was Advancing Leaders through Opportunities with a focus on collaboration, culture and connections. Nearly 200 students, staff and AAPI business partners from across multiple school districts gathered together for an evening of cultural food tasting, activities and performances. Members of District 214, 211 and 207 cultural clubs united to bring awareness and understanding on what it means to be AAPI. Watch this video to see this year's highlights.
