Block Schedule Pilot
Having adopted block schedules during the 2020-2021 school year to better accommodate student and staff needs during hybrid learning, District 214 will now implement block schedules for all of its comprehensive high schools as a pilot program.
District 214 reached this decision after receiving positive feedback about this year’s schedule from students, parents and teachers and additional positive feedback by way of parent surveys. Additional details of the schedule and several potential advantages identified by District 214 may be found here.
After the pilot concludes, we will review data and once again survey students, parents and staff regarding future years’ schedules.
214 partners with Passport Health to offer vaccine to students 16 or older
High School District 214 has identified a partner, Passport Health, that is able to provide Covid-19 vaccinations to students 16 years of age or older who would like to receive the Pfizer vaccine on-site at a District 214 facility.
In order to gauge the interest in student vaccinations, District 214 is asking parents or eligible students to complete an interest form by the end of the day on Friday, April 30.

All camps are coached by Elk Grove staff coaches or professionals in their field of sport. Camps are run Monday through Thursday unless otherwise noted. Anyone who is of high school age and is a resident of Township High School District 214 may participate in the Summer Athletic Program (SAP).
