Block Schedule Pilot
Having adopted block schedules during the 2020-2021 school year to better accommodate student and staff needs during hybrid learning, District 214 will now implement block schedules for all of its comprehensive high schools as a pilot program.
District 214 reached this decision after receiving positive feedback about this year’s schedule from students, parents and teachers and additional positive feedback by way of parent surveys. Additional details of the schedule and several potential advantages identified by District 214 may be found here.
After the pilot concludes, we will review data and once again survey students, parents and staff regarding future years’ schedules.
