The Healthy Living course is designed to help students learn about the factors that contribute to lifelong health. Topics addressed include cooking, nutrition, fitness, self-care, mindfulness, basic first aid, hygiene, and social-emotional coping strategies. Students have opportunities to prepare food for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snack menu items with a focus on nutrition, while using a variety of kitchen utensils and appliances. Students have weekly opportunities to engage in fitness routines that teach various fitness concepts.
