District 214's inaugural Asian Student Association (ASA) Showcase was held at Buffalo Grove High School on March 10, 2023. The event was student-led and featured free food from local restaurants and performances from all across Asia. Featured performers include Korean music ensemble SoriBeat, Indian dancing by students from Elk Grove High School and Wheeling High School, traditional Chinese dance, and more. The keynote speaker was Andrew Hong, the founder of streetwear brand WE EACH BELONG. There was also a video introduction by Illinois State Rep. Jennifer Gong-Gershowitz.
