High School District 214 is proud to announce that all six of its high schools have earned a place on the College Board’s AP School Honor Roll for the 2024–25 school year. This districtwide recognition reflects a shared commitment to expanding access to Advanced Placement coursework and supporting students on their path to college success.
The AP School Honor Roll celebrates schools that have demonstrated outstanding work in welcoming more students into AP courses while ensuring they receive the academic support needed to succeed. District 214’s inclusion underscores the collective efforts of teachers, counselors, administrators and families who work together to build a strong college-going culture across all schools.
Research consistently shows that students who participate in AP courses and exams are more likely to attend college and graduate on time, often reducing the cost of higher education. Students who earn college credit through AP can accelerate their path to a degree and enter college with increased confidence. Even for students who do not earn college credit, AP coursework provides valuable exposure to college-level expectations and rigor, helping prepare them for future academic success.
Recognition on the AP School Honor Roll reflects the daily work taking place in District 214 classrooms. Dedicated educators challenge and support students, while students step forward to take on rigorous coursework that pushes their learning and growth.
Congratulations to students, staff and families across District 214 on this meaningful achievement and continued commitment to academic excellence.
