All-District Summer Musical

The all-District summer musical, part of the Talent Development Program, provides District 214 fine and performing artists with another opportunity to showcase their skills and wow audiences, while interacting with students from across the District.

The 2018 Summer Musical, MAMMA MIA, will be July 10 - July 13, 2019 at the Forest View Educational Center.

While the summer musical is run as a TDP summer enrichment experience, current sophomores and juniors have the option to instead participate in the musical as a dual credit course, run through District 214’s Summer School.  Course descriptions are below, and more information will follow after auditions.
 

College Summer Theatre: Performance This course involves comprehensive experiences in performance theatre arts. Students must perform as part of this course work. To be enrolled in this course, students must meet dual credit prerequisites, complete dual credit prerequisites and requirements. This course satisfies the district fine arts graduation requirement. This class is intended for rising juniors and rising seniors. Registration deadline for this course is April 26th.

College Summer Theatre Tech: This course involves comprehensive technical experiences in performance theatre arts. To be enrolled in this course, students must meet dual credit prerequisites, complete dual credit prerequisites and requirements. This course satisfies the district fine arts graduation requirement.This class is intended for rising juniors and rising seniors. Registration deadline for this course is April 26th.
