Superintendent Leadership Transition
After 18 years, Superintendent Dr. David Schuler is leaving his position at District 214 to serve as the next executive director of the American Association of School Administrators (AASA). As the District wishes him well on his new endeavors, the Board of Education is tasked with appointing a successor.
Dr. Kenneth Arndt and Dr. Lazaro Lopez have been appointed as Co-Interim Superintendents to lead the District as the board continues its search.
The District is seeking the community's input to help prioritize the desired characteristics of the next superintendent. Please complete this survey HERE by Wednesday, February 1.
