RMHS senior's award winning artwork dazzles judges
Bridgett O' Grady, a senior art student at Rolling Meadows High School, took second place in a community art and writing contest co-sponsored by the Daily Herald and District 214 Arts Unlimited.
Her work was submitted alongside artwork from students and adults all in the Daily Herald readership community.
A panel of artists and writers juried the show, and awarded O' Grady with her placement, noting that the piece offers, "a striking example of rendering hair and skin to look realistic while engaging the viewer with motion and texture."
Way to go, Bridgett! Your Mustang Family is incredibly proud of your accomplishments.
