Meadows Theatre is proud to present our Spring Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee!
Featuring a company of 90 students, this musical tells the story of an eclectic group of six mid-pubescents who vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime!! While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.
This performance is best enjoyed by audience members in upper elementary school and above!
Approximate run time: 90 minutes, plus intermission
On Stage: April 30th, May 1st, and May 2nd.
DETAILS: We have 2 lead casts for this show, but all students will perform in all of the shows! You can find the specific cast divisions, along with the performance dates and times on the GoFan website, linked here!
