The Midwest Education Technology Community named Wheeling High School educators Michael Geist and Tom Steinbach top STEM educators.

Geist and Steinbach continue to provide unique opportunities for students interested in STEM and manufacturing at Wheeling. As part of the project, students worked directly NASA engineers throughout the process.

Most recently, Geist and Steinbach wrote and designed an industrial robotics/ geometry curriculum that is aligned with Illinois State standards. Upon successful completion of this course, students will receive math credit as well as industry-recognized robotics certifications.
