2017 Employee Giving Campaign
In the last year, the District 214 Foundation has empowered $16,000 in Advanced Placement testing forstudents who could not afford the exams; college campus tours for more than 150 first-generation students and parents; $150,000 in student scholarships toward postsecondary education; breakfasts for in-need students; more than $30,000 in teacher grants for innovative classroom opportunities; and adult and family literacy programming that transforms generations throughout our community.
You helped make this happen.
In 2016, you -- our District 214 staff -- contributed an incredible $32,000 to the Foundation through our second annual Employee Giving Campaign.
This year, we challenge you to become One of 214: We hope to obtain 214 staff donors from the District's north schools (Buffalo Grove, Wheeling, Hersey) and 214 staff donors from the District's south schools (Prospect, Rolling Meadows, Elk Grove). Staff contributors from FVEC will be divided equally between the two.
We have prizes and incentives for all, including special opportunities for those who increase their contribution over last year or those who give for the first time.
There are several ways to give, and all options are accessible via this link or by using the paper form that was distributed in staff mailboxes. If you need an additional form, contact email@example.com.
Payroll Deduction: Elect a one-time or recurring payroll deduction. All deductions will begin with the first paycheck in January 2018. If you elected payroll deductions in the lat employee campaign, you still must sign up again. They do not automatically renew.
Credit Card Contribution: Credit cards can be used for one-time or recurring contributions.
Check: Checks made payable to the District 214 Education Foundation can be grey mailed to Dawn Curran in the Foundation Office at FVEC.
What you do is important. The Foundation is here to bolster your efforts, supporting innovation, student success and lifelong learning in every one of our schools and paving clear pathways to the future for every learned who steps through our doors.
