District 214 is offering a week-long SAT Test Preparation Program open to rising sophomores, juniors and seniors. The program will prepare students for all three parts of the SAT (Reading, Mathematics, and Writing and Language).  

Students may only register for this course offering once during the summer.

Introduction to Construction and Carpentry (E23207)

This is an introductory-level program that will focus on residential and commercial construction topics. During this class, students will experience lessons and discussions to learn about construction trades including framing, electrical, plumbing, and finishing while working on a construction project throughout the week. As part of this class, students will visit an active construction project to learn about a variety of careers and the skills needed to be in the architecture and construction industries.

3D Computer Modeling and Production (E23208)

An exploratory and project-based course that exposes students to different career pathway opportunities available to high school students. Students will experience the use of various machines such as 3D printers, laser cutters, metal fabrication tools, and CNC routers to create products. Several hands-on projects will be created.
