The District 214 Talent Development Program is looking forward to offering a great selection of Summer Enrichment classes this upcoming summer (June 6 - July 14). Open to all D214 students, Summer Enrichment classes are designed to engage students in diverse and fun learning opportunities and to encourage students to explore new interests, to develop new passions, and to explore different careers.  This year, offerings range from cooking to space science  to electronic music production, and much, much more. Summer Enrichment classes are non-credit, so the learning environment is low-key and free of the pressure of homework and tests ( enrollment is however, noted on student transcripts). And, since Summer Enrichment classes last for four days, students can enroll in multiple classes for several unique summer experiences! Classes typically run from 9am to 12pm or 1pm to 4pm and are led by District 214 teachers/staff.

Please register for the grade level your student will be enrolled in for the 2022-2023 school year.  Your Student ID is required for registration (for incoming freshmen - please see an email from District 214 with this information).

Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from class sites. The cost is $75 per course, plus applicable fees. Our “Becoming an iStudent” program for incoming freshmen is offered at “no charge.”

Courses are subject to cancellation if minimum enrollment numbers are not met. Refunds will only be given if a course is cancelled.

Please contact Laura Shepin ( or Anthony Miocic (, TDP Coordinators, with any questions.
