Welcome to the web site of Rolling Meadows High School. Rolling Meadows High School is recognized as one of the top high schools in the country by U.S. News and World Report, The Washington Post, and is designated as a "Blue Ribbon School," by the U.S. Department of Education.

Rolling Meadows High School is a public four-year high school that opened in 1971, and serves the villages of Arlington Heights, Mt. Prospect, and Rolling Meadows. Rolling Meadows is one of six schools in Township High School District 214, including Buffalo Grove, Elk Grove, John Hersey, Prospect, and Wheeling High Schools. Rolling Meadows is proud to be a member of District 214. Our collective mission and vision include the offering of a comprehensive curriculum to support student learning and the ability to demonstrate the academic and life skills of analytic capabilities, ethical judgment and decision-making, problem solving, career and life planning, technological literacy, as well as concern, understanding, and respect in our culturally diverse schools.

Rolling Meadows promotes high quality academic and co-curricular programs to support student growth and school engagement. There are 26 AP courses to select from in our comprehensive Advanced Placement Program. We offer engineering and manufacturing courses as part of the Project Lead The Way program. In 2015-2016 we added the course of Geometry and Technical Construction to enhance the classroom application of math skills. We are also a part of the AVID (Advancement Via Individual Determination) national elective program that supports students that are the first generation in their families to go on to college. In all of the academic areas, Rolling Meadows High School offers a rigorous and relevant core curriculum to help all students build the necessary skill sets to be successful in their future endeavors. We have a wonderful selection of courses in the areas of art, business, culinary foods, economics, engineering, graphic arts, history, literature, math, music, physical education, science, world language, writing, and more. Over 90% of students enroll in post-secondary educational courses at a technical school, junior college, or four year university.

We have a spectacular Fine and Performing Arts Program. We offer fine arts courses in band, choir, dance, drama, orchestra, and technical theater. Students have an opportunity to be involved in two plays each year, the musical, the Variety Show, and more. There are over ninety co-curricular sports and activities offered at the school. We encourage all students to get involved in at least one school sponsored activity to enrich their high school experience.

Rolling Meadows is a high school where the students and staff are committed to excellence. Please view the web site to learn more about the academic offerings, the Fine and Performing Arts opportunities, and the co-curricular clubs and activities offered at Rolling Meadows High School.
