School Breakfast and Lunch Program
Food and Nutrition Service Department
National School Lunch and Breakfast Program
All families desiring free or reduced price meal benefits must have a completed, current, approved application on file for the 2013-14 school year. If your child was receiving benefits last school year, you must reapply for the 2013-2014 school year using the current year application. Prior year benefits expire on October 3, 2013.
If you are currently receiving SNAP or TANF benefits from the DHS, you may have already received a letter from us in the mail stating that your child is eligible for free meal benefits based on SNAP or TANF benefits. If you have received one of these letters, you do not need to fill out one of these applications as well.
Please follow the directions carefully when completing the application as the application has changed from previous years. Incomplete applications cannot be processed and will be returned.
