District 214 Receives Certificate of Excellence for Financial Reporting
August 31, 2012
For the third consecutive year, Township High School District 214 has won the Association of School Business Officials (ASBO) International’s Certificate of Excellence (COE) in Financial Reporting award for having met or exceeded the program’s high standards for financial reporting and accountability.
The district was recognized for its Comprehensive Annual Financial Report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2011. The school district also was recognized in 2010 and 2011.
The COE award confirms District 214's business office’s commitment to financial accountability and transparency. Recognition through the COE program can help strengthen a district’s presentation for bond issuance statements and promotes a high level of financial reporting.
The ASBO International is a nonprofit professional association serving more than 6,000 business officials. The COE award is the only award program specifically designed for school entities’ financial reporting.
