Summer Enrichment Opportunities include:

Enrichment Seminar Series

TDP Summer Enrichment is a Districtwide program comprised of weeklong courses that continue our commitment to expanding opportunities for our high-achieving, highly motivated students in support of their academic, social, emotional and career development needs.

Summer seminars will be offered in one-week installments from 9 am to 12 pm or 1 pm to 4 pm, Monday through Thursday. These non-credit seminars cost $75 each. Students are responsible for their own transportation to and from these offerings.

For further details or additional questions, contact Lyn Comer-Jaworski, District 214 TDP Coordinator at lyn.comerjawors@d214.org.

Micro-internships

This opportunity is designed to provide Juniors and Seniors with authentic, relevant and meaningful learning experiences in the local community which assists the student with post-secondary decision making.

All-District Summer Musical

The all-District summer musical, part of the Talent Development Program, provides District 214 fine and performing artists with another opportunity to showcase their skills and wow audiences, while interacting with students from across the District.

All students, from all schools, are encouraged to audition.

The 2017 Summer Musical will be July 13 - July 15 at the Forest View Educational Center.  Please re-visit this page in the Spring for more information.
