AP Night

On Tuesday, May 24th, 2016 District 214’s Talent and Development Program hosted the inaugural AP Night at Forest View Educational Center. The objective of this evening event was to educate first time AP parents and students about the rigors of Advance Placement classes. This initiative grew out of the needs highlighted by our TDP Student Leadership Committee.

The evening included a keynote address by Dr. Lopez, Associate Superintendent for Teaching and Learning. This address was followed by four break-out sessions hosted by a variety of District 214 Advanced Placement teachers. These educators offered strategies and advice to parents and students about how to be successful in specific AP classes.

The 2017 District 214 AP Night will be on Tuesday, May 23rd, 2017 from 7:30-9:00 pm at Forest View Educational Center.
