District 214 offers a comprehensive curriculum with courses in language arts, mathematics, science, computer science, world language, social science, business, technology, life studies, fine arts, physical education, health, driver education, and NJROTC.
Advanced Placement courses are available in English, U.S. History, European History, World History, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Environmental Science, Computer Science, Calculus, Chinese, German, French, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Art, Psychology, Statistics, Economics, Government and Politics, Human Geography, and Music.
Programs available to students taking college classes in high school that can simultaneously count towards their high school diploma and college degree.
Special Education courses are available in District 214 schools as well as through area cooperative programs.
Social, academic, and career counseling is provided at each school.
Each school has a psychologist, social worker, police counselor, nurse, and school counselor.
Each school participates in the Talent Development Program.
World language programs of study are provided in French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Mandarin Chinese, and American Sign Language.
Each school is fully recognized by the Illinois State Board of Education.
Two three-week summer school programs are provided with a broad scope of course selections.
The Young Adult Education Program (YAP) is offered to students who are unable to attend day school. Students may also enroll in the day school and YAP concurrently, though approval for this dual enrollment is necessary.
An English Language Learner/Bilingual program also is provided in the district.
